Starboard engine rebuilt by Pacific Engine Rebuilders - ZERO hours, Port engine approx 3200hrs · IZUZU fitted 15 kW 120 volt water cooled generator · Two stainless steel fresh water tanks-approx 125 gal each · Three fuel tanks- approx 400 gal total · Interior Cabin Layout Two Staterooms with Two Full Heads c/w Marble Vanity Tops and SS SinksTwo Galvanized Claw Anchors She has Raymarine radar, Furuno colour sounder, Furuno GPS, Hummingbird LCD sounder, Jepsen VHF, COMNAV Autopilot We started the refit in April of 2011- Hull cleaned, gel coat repaired and painted 2012, NEW Anti-fouling Bottom Paint - Refit carried out, BOTH shafts machined, propellers MACHINED, rudders, NEW steering gear NEW zinc anodes installed on Shafts Rudders and Hull - Main deck cabin structure (Salon) was removed and NEW SALON structure built late 2011 then installed Spring 2012 a NEW Salon Deck-head, Saloon Cabin walls, NEW laminated deck beams and sound deadening insulation was also installed - Interior has been stripped down, all old wiring removed, other ongoing joinery work to be done. All of the original teak interior millwork and detailing was carefully removed and stored to be reinstalled at completion. All of the original Teak Locker Doors are half Louvered. . The boat is located in Prince Rupert BC. We have pictures of the before, during and to date of this wonderful boat. Our intention was to complete the refit and then comfortably live aboard, however due to family health issues we?ve had to relocate to Southern Ontario. The Salty Bear with some TLC and added work to complete what we have started, she will once again be a beautiful yacht. We are in Southern Ontario so we are 3 hours ahead of BC time.
